As in the Hyd Blues dialogue, I did have a chance to look at the desi and Yankee cultures. These are some of my observations and are not meant to offend my country.

Reasons to be proud being an Indian
You can rest your shoulder on your friend and still not be gay.
You can stop your bike anywhere to watch something interesting.
You are never scared of people.
You can find time to read a local daily and a sturdy English daily.

Reasons not to be proud being an Indian
I think this is the only country where parents feel proud that their son/daughter is leaving the birth country.
Air conditioning is a luxury
People love to watch others kiss and have sex rather than they doing themselves.
